Healthy Monday - Week 17
Generating Positive Feelings
Welcome back to your Healthy Monday wellness program! This week, we’re looking at how looking inward can help you generate positive feelings.
Try this week’s practice below and then share your feedback about how you did.
Use this Monday to generate positive feelings for the next week. Every Monday, you can refresh these feelings and reset your good intentions.
Some people think Mondays are a time to “get back to the grind,” which can work against feeling positive and happy. You can change that easily: Start every week thinking about all the things that bring you joy or motivate you to do your best work. Take a few moments on Monday to close your eyes and imagine a setting in which you feel comfortable, loved, and free from anything that brings you stress. Maybe it’s a serene beach with crashing waves and a beautiful sunset, or a grassy park filled with lush trees, flowers, and singing birds. It could even be a cozy couch in front of a rustic fireplace that crackles softly while you hold a hot mug of tea. Whatever your happy place is, let yourself live in it throughout the week.
