Healthy Monday - Week 22
Yoga
Welcome back to your Healthy Monday wellness program! This week, we’re relaxing with yoga.
Try this week’s practice below and then share your feedback about how you did.
This week, we’re shifting our focus to your physical health. It’s important to keep moving and stay limber, so this week we’ll be discussing yoga.
If you’re thinking “I’m not flexible” or “I don’t have time to roll out a mat and do yoga,” don’t worry! Yoga has a pretty broad definition and features moves that are easy and gentle no matter what your fitness or flexibility levels. Yoga is all about connecting your body with your mind – in other words, combining the mindful tips you’ve already learned and incorporating some movement. Many effective and beneficial yoga moves can even be done while sitting in a chair at a desk!
Check out our two-part Chair Yoga video series, guided by Amy Eberhardt, MPH, CYT, LMT, CPMT, a certified integral yoga instructor from NYU Langone Medical Center, and have a Healthy Monday!
