The New Meatless Monday Resource Center is Live!
The new Meatless Monday Resource Center is now live and ready for use! This dynamic website will be housed with our long-time science advisor and partner, the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future at the Bloomberg School of Public Health.
The resource center features essential materials and research for implementing Meatless Monday programs while preserving the campaign’s history and legacy within the arena of public health. Its upgraded capabilities will enable us to broaden the reach of our messaging and empower people worldwide to reduce their meat consumption for their health and the health of the planet.

Many existing Meatless Monday resources will be rerouted to their new home in the resource center. Other assets, articles, and recipes will remain on our current website for reference but will eventually be phased out. Meatless Monday will continue to distribute our weekly newsletter, social media content, and recipes. And if you’re a partner who works with us, our team will continue to handle your queries and requests.
Meatless Monday was started in 2003 by Sid Lerner, in association with the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future. Meatless Mondays’ simple concept of “skip meat once a week” is clear, memorable, and easy to understand and implement. Today, organizations and communities worldwide have adopted Meatless Monday to promote healthy and sustainable eating habits. The global movement, which can be found in over 40 countries and translated into 22 languages, continues to grow.
