A nationally representative survey conducted with DDG (Data Decisions Group) found that approximately 36% of Americans made a New Year’s resolution in 2020, but 20% of people that make New Year’s resolutions fall off in January and by July, 43% have given up on some of their top resolutions. Maintaining a resolution is tricky, and with every new week there seems to be another bump in the road threatening to throw you off course. The survey showed that the most common reasons for relapsing are an inability to stay on track, lack of support and not seeing results quickly enough.
