Introducing
Man Up Monday

The day young men are
urged to visit their local clinics to get checked for HIV and STDs.

Man Up Monday is a new health initiative directed at making young men more aware of their health. Young men, and men in general, tend to ignore health problems until they become acute. Man Up Monday encourages men to take weekly stock of their health and take necessary action.

The Man Up Monday program originated with Healthy Monday and is part of a national movement to help people start and stick with healthy behaviors that can help them end chronic, preventable diseases like diabetes, heart disease and hypertension. Healthy Monday’s goal is to prevent these diseases by offering a weekly reminder to start and stick with their healthy goals.

The Monday Campaigns invites health organizations to join us in creating a Man Up Monday Monday movement. Help us convince young men to take Monday as the day to consider their health issues. Why Monday? Because research shows that, on the first day of the week, people set weekly health intentions and are looking for help.

Please contact us to learn how Man Up Monday can fit into your organization.
